Julie Mongeau

President, VP of Operation and Production, Producer

Holder of a bachelor’s degree in political science (international relations) and a D.E.S.S. in management consulting (MBA bridge program), Julie Mongeau is a producer specialized in 2D and 3D animation.

After a few years in dubbing at Astral Tech, she continued her career in production and postproduction at Groupe Coscient (later Motion International and TVA International), working on coproductions with France, Germany, and Belgium, such as Les aventures d’une mouche (Fr3 & TELETOON), Fantômette (Canal J), La Famille Pirate (Fr3 & SRC), Papyrus I and II (TF1 & YTV), and Excalibur (Canal+, Fr2, YTV).

In 1999, she joined CinéGroupe as head of postproduction services. There, she supervised teams, client relations, and resource allocation, contributing to notable coproductions including: What’s With Andy (TELETOON, Disney), Seriously Weird (Granada Film), Galidor (Tommy Lynch, Lego, Fox Kids, Sony), Tripping the Rift (Film Roman), Pinocchio 3000 (Cristal Film), Student Seduction (Lions Gate), and Edge of Madness (Credo Entertainment).

In 2003, Spectra Animation (now Echo Média) was founded, and Julie joined the production team on Toupie et Binou I, II, III (Treehouse & TQ), Blaise le Blasé (TELETOON & FR2), Vie de Quartier (prime time SRC), Toupie Vroum Vroum Zoom (Treehouse & SRC), Miam (TFO & YOOPA), Les chroniques de Xavier et Mamie (TFO & YOOPA), Elles Pêchent! I, II, III (TV5), and Bébéatrice I and II (prime time SRC).

From 2020 to 2025, she expanded her expertise at CarpeDiem Film & TV, serving as delegated producer on the 3D feature films La Légende du papillon and Elli et l’équipe des monstres (coproduced with Germany), two 3D feature film pilots Les Bottanïx and Débridés (theatrical releases planned for 2026-2027), and the 2D series Joy Eternal (coproduced with Finland and Spain).
